Maine High School Basketball - Telstar overwhelmed by Monmouth Academy

The Monmouth Academy Mustangs basketball team scored 67 points and restricted the visiting Telstar Rebels to 42 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Mustangs now sport a 6-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dirigo for a C South contest on Saturday, January 6. Monmouth Academy will battle a Cougars team coming off a 51-49 league loss to Madison (Madison, ME). The Cougars record now stands at 5-1.
The Rebels (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mount Abram (Strong, ME). The Roadrunners come into the non-league contest with a 6-0 record. In their last contest, Mount Abram triumphed over Oak Hill (Sabattus, ME), 72-35, in a non-league contest.
