North Forest Bulldogs (Houston, TX) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wisdom Generals (Houston, TX), 60-39 in a league bout.

With the win, North Forest upgrades its record to 6-10 on the season. The Bulldogs host Kashmere (Houston, TX) to play the Fighting Rams in a 4A Region III District 21 bout on Monday, January 8. The Fighting Rams go into the bout with a record of 6-9. Kashmere lost 64-54 in their recent non-league bout against Iowa Colony (Iowa Colony, TX)

Next up, the Generals play the Sterling Raiders (Houston, TX) in a 5A Region III District 19 bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Wisdom will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 94-59 non-league win over Chavez (Houston, TX).
