Santa Fe Chiefs (Alma, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Northland Christian (Kansas City, MO), 55-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Santa Fe upgrades its record to 3-9 on the season. The Chiefs travel to Otterville (Otterville, MO) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 3-8. Otterville won 59-48 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Lutheran (Jefferson City, MO)

Next up, the clash with the Heartland Mustangs (Belton, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 9. Northland Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 76-68 non-league loss to Lutheran (Kansas City, MO).
