Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Ridley can't hold off Penncrest

The Penncrest Lions basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the visiting Ridley Raiders to 37 in the Lions league victory on Thursday.
The Lions now sport a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Haverford for a Central contest on Saturday, January 6. Penncrest will battle a Fords team coming off a 55-38 league loss to Marple Newtown (Newtown Square, PA). The Fords record now stands at 1-8.
The Raiders (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Harriton (Rosemont, PA). The Rams come into the Central contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Harriton edged Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA), 53-45, in a league contest.
