The Times Squared Academy Eagles (Providence, RI) basketball nipped the visiting Rogers Vikings (Newport, RI), 50-49 in Thursday's league test.
The Eagles (2-6) will now prepare for their test against Burrillville (Harrisville, RI). The Broncos go into the Division 2 test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Burrillville was tipped by Shea (Pawtucket, RI), 69-55, in a league test.
The Vikings now own a 5-3 record. They play next when they host Providence Country Day for a Division 2 test on Monday, January 8. Rogers will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 60-42 league loss to Johnston (Johnston, RI). The Knights record now stands at 0-4.
