The Sierra Chieftains basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the visiting Selma Bears to 59 in the Chieftains non-league victory on Thursday.
The Chieftains now sport a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Edison for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Sierra will battle a Tigers team coming off a 75-71 non-league loss to Seattle Prep (Seattle, WA). The Tigers record now stands at 8-7.
The Bears (8-7) will now prepare for their contest against Tulare Western (Tulare, CA). The Mustangs come into the non-league contest with a 10-7 record. In their last contest, Tulare Western dropped by North (Bakersfield, CA), 56-54, in a non-league contest.
