Castaic Coyotes (Castaic, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Covina Colts (Covina, CA), 72-66 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Castaic upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Coyotes travel to Canyon (Canyon Country, CA) to clash with the Cowboys in a bout on Friday, January 5. The Cowboys go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Canyon lost 70-45 in their recent league bout against Valencia (Valencia, CA)

Next up, the Colts clash with the West Covina Bulldogs (West Covina, CA) in a bout, on Monday, January 8. Covina will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record.
