Parkland Trojans (Allentown, PA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host East Stroudsburg South Cavaliers (East Stroudsburg, PA), 42-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Parkland upgrades its record to 5-0 on the season. The Trojans host Emmaus (Emmaus, PA) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 7-0.

Next up, the Cavaliers clash with the East Stroudsburg North Timberwolves (Dingmans Ferry, PA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, January 8. East Stroudsburg South will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a 0-4 record after their 45-31 non-league loss to William Allen (Allentown, PA).
