The Mt. Whitney Pioneers basketball team (Visalia, CA), was overwhelmed 59-13 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Lemoore Tigers (Lemoore, CA)

The Tigers now possess a 9-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Redwood for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Lemoore will confront a Rangers team coming off a 42-38 non-league loss to Sierra Pacific (Hanford, CA). The Rangers record now stands at 0-1.

The Pioneers (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Reedley (Reedley, CA). The Pirates come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Reedley trounced Lindsay (Lindsay, CA), 39-31, in a non-league battle.
