Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Widefield Gladiators (Colorado Springs, CO), 44-18 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Palmer Ridge upgrades its record to 5-0 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Elizabeth (Elizabeth, CO) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. The Cardinals come into the battle with a record of 4-1. Elizabeth won 41-37 in their recent non-league battle against Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO)

The Gladiators (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Canon City (Canon City, CO). The Tigers come into the battle with a 0-0 record.
