Louisiana High School Basketball - Academy of the Sacred Heart can't hold off Cabrini

The Cabrini Crescents basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Academy of the Sacred Heart Cardinals to 40 in the Crescents non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Crescents now sport a 6-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teurlings Catholic for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Cabrini will battle a Rebels team coming off a 47-25 non-league win over St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 15-5.
The Cardinals (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 4-10 record. In their last contest, St. Michael was nudged by Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA), 47-25, in a non-league contest.
