The Alcoa Tornadoes basketball team scored 73 points and held the host West Rebels to 14 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Tornadoes now sport a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Austin-East for a 2A District 2 contest on Friday, January 5. Alcoa will battle a Roadrunners team coming off a 61-32 non-league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, TN). The Roadrunners record now stands at 6-3.
The Rebels (0-11) will now prepare for their contest against Farragut (Knoxville, TN). The Admirals enter the 4A District 4 game with a 7-9 record.
