The Anderson Raptors basketball team scored 39 points and held the visiting Turpin Spartans to 34 in the Raptors league triumph on Thursday.

The Raptors now sport a 1-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mercy McAuley for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6. Anderson will meet a Wolves team coming off a 47-29 non-league win over Taylor (Cleves, OH). The Wolves record now stands at 3-9.

The Spartans (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Western Brown (Mt. Orab, OH). The Broncos enter the non-league contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Western Brown was nudged by St. Ursula Academy (Cincinnati, OH), 61-57, in a non-league contest.
