The Laporte Wildcats basketball team (Laporte, MN), was routed 65-35 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Bigfork Huskies (Bigfork, MN)
The Huskies now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Nashwauk-Keewatin for a A Section 7 battle on Monday, January 8. Bigfork will battle a Spartans team coming off a 61-22 league loss to South Ridge (Culver, MN). The Spartans record now stands at 1-8.
The Wildcats (3-20) will now prepare for their battle against Lake Central (St. John, IN). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 15-3 record. In their last battle, Lake Central trounced Mishawaka Marian (Mishawaka, IN), 61-10, in a non-league battle.
