The Cougars (10-1) will now prepare for their outing against Ar-We-Va (Westside, IA). The Rockets go into the Rolling Valley outing with a 1-9 record. In their last outing, Ar-We-Va was trounced by Maple Valley-Anthon-Oto/Charter Oak-Ute (Mapleton, IA), 98-22, in a non-league outing.

The now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Central Decatur for a non-league outing on Friday, January 5. Southwest Valley will encounter a Cardinals squad coming off a 52-44 league win over Southeast Warren (Liberty Center, IA). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-4.
