Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Waynflete Flyers (Portland, ME) and the visiting Cape Elizabeth Capers (Cape Elizabeth, ME), saw Waynflete's basketball squad overcome Cape Elizabeth by a tally of 39-25.

With the victory, Waynflete improves its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Flyers travel to Old Orchard Beach (Old Orchard Beach, ME) to confront the Seagulls in a non-league challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Seagulls come into the challenge with a record of 3-3. Old Orchard Beach lost 49-33 in their recent non-league challenge against Wells (Wells, ME)

Next up, the Capers confront the Mountain Valley Falcons (Rumford, ME) in a B South challenge, on Monday, January 8. Cape Elizabeth will attempt to improve on its 0-7 season record.
