The Marist Spartans basketball team (Eugene, OR), was toppled 46-29 in Thursday's non-league battle with the visiting Cascade Cougars (Turner, OR)
The Cougars now possess a 6-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crook County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 9. Cascade will confront a Cowboys team coming off a 52-35 non-league loss to Baker (Baker City, OR). The Cowboys record now stands at 7-5.
The Spartans (5-7) will now prepare for their battle against North Marion (Aurora, OR). The Huskies come into the non-league battle with a 6-6 record. In their last battle, North Marion beat Estacada (Estacada, OR), 38-32, in a non-league battle.
