In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Cascade Cougars basketball team scored a decisive 56-18 triumph over the West Branch Bears.
In their next game, the Cougars meet the Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Cascade will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Tigers enter the match with a 8-2 record after their 67-22 league win over North Cedar (Stanwood, IA).
