Iowa High School Basketball - Union ripped by Columbus

The Columbus Sailors basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Union Knights to 29 in the Sailors league triumph on Thursday.
The Sailors now sport a 4-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wapsie Valley for a North Iowa Cedar - East contest on Friday, January 5. Columbus will meet a Warriors team coming off a 57-47 non-league loss to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-6.
The Knights (3-9) will now prepare for their contest against Denver (Denver, IA). The Cyclones enter the North Iowa Cedar - East contest with a 6-3 record. In their last contest, Denver triumphed over Oelwein (Oelwein, IA), 53-33, in a league contest.
