The Paradise Adventist Academy Cougars basketball team (Paradise, CA), was overwhelmed 51-20 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host CORE Butte Lynx (Chico, CA)
The Lynx now possess a 3-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Biggs for a Mid-Valley battle on Tuesday, January 9. CORE Butte will confront a Wolverines team coming off a 34-28 non-league win over Los Molinos (Los Molinos, CA). The Wolverines record now stands at 8-6.
The Cougars (0-3) will now prepare for their battle against Princeton (Princeton, CA). The Eagles come into the Pioneer battle with a 1-8 record. In their last battle, Princeton was overwhelmed by CORE Butte (Chico, CA), 35-31, in a non-league battle.
