Davenport Gorillas (Davenport, WA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Upper Columbia Academy Lions (Spangle, WA), 57-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, Davenport upgrades its record to 4-0 on the campaign. The Gorillas travel to Liberty (Spangle, WA) to play the Lancers in a 2B Bi-County bout on Tuesday, January 9. The Lancers come into the bout with a record of 6-2. Liberty won 59-28 in their recent league bout against Chewelah (Chewelah, WA)

Next up, the Lions play the Colfax Bulldogs (Colfax, WA) in a 2B Bi-County bout, on Monday, January 8. Upper Columbia Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 8-4 record after their 56-26 league win over St. George's (Spokane, WA).
