Missouri High School Basketball - DeKalb can't hold off Winston

The Winston Red Birds basketball team scored 37 points and held the host DeKalb Tigers to 36 in the Red Birds non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Red Birds now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tri-County for a HDC contest on Tuesday, January 16. Winston will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 52-12 non-league loss to Albany (Albany, MO). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-7.
The Tigers (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Nodaway (Hopkins, MO). The Mustangs enter the Highway 275 contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, North Nodaway was nudged by Rock Port (Rock Port, MO), 51-31, in a league contest.
