The Desert Oasis Diamondbacks basketball team (Las Vegas, NV), was overwhelmed 55-17 in Thursday's league battle with the host Shadow Ridge Mustangs (Las Vegas, NV)

The Mustangs now possess a 8-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orangewood Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Shadow Ridge will battle a Spartans team coming off a 66-57 non-league loss to Notre Dame (SO) (Sherman Oaks, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-4.

The Diamondbacks (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Arbor View (Las Vegas, NV). The Aggies come into the 5A Southern battle with a 3-7 record. In their last battle, Arbor View was overwhelmed by Pahrump Valley (Pahrump, NV), 56-44, in a non-league battle.
