The KIPP Tulsa University Prep Bulldogs basketball team (Tulsa, OK), was nudged 52-51 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Elgin Owls (Elgin, OK)
The Owls now possess a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Weatherford for a non-league battle on Friday, January 5. Elgin will battle a Eagles team coming off a 57-33 non-league win over Piedmont (Piedmont, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-2.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their battle against Piedmont (Piedmont, OK). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Piedmont was nudged by Weatherford (Weatherford, OK), 57-33, in a non-league battle.
