    The Ellet Orangemen basketball team (Akron, OH), was routed 73-30 in Thursday's non-league battle with the host Laurel Gators (Shaker Heights, OH)

    The Gators now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Start for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 6. Laurel will battle a Spartans team coming off a 69-37 non-league loss to Detroit Country Day (Beverly Hills, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 4-6.

    The Orangemen (7-4) will now prepare for their battle against East (Akron, OH). The Dragons come into the Akron City battle with a 1-8 record.
