Alabama High School Basketball - Elmore County can't hold off Wetumpka

The Wetumpka Indians basketball team scored 44 points and restricted the host Elmore County Panthers to 38 in the Indians non-league victory on Thursday.
The Indians now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Stanhope Elmore for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6.
The Panthers (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Marbury (Marbury, AL). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Area 6 contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, Marbury edged Holtville (Deatsville, AL), 61-22, in a league contest.
