Faulkton Trojans (Faulkton, SD) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Herreid/Selby Wolverines (Herreid, SD), 54-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Faulkton upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Trojans travel to North Central (Eureka, SD) to play the Thunder in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Thunder go into the bout with a record of 3-3. North Central lost 50-34 in their recent non-league bout against Warner (Warner, SD)

Next up, the Wolverines play the Langford Lions (Langford, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. Herreid/Selby will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 61-21 non-league loss to Lemmon (Lemmon, SD).
