Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Goshen RedHawks (Goshen, IN) and the host Mishawaka Marian Knights (Mishawaka, IN), saw Goshen's basketball squad hold off Mishawaka Marian by a count of 30-23.

With the victory, Goshen upgrades its record to 7-9 on the campaign. The RedHawks host Concord (Elkhart, IN) to play the Minutemen in a Northern Lakes challenge on Saturday, January 6. The Minutemen come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Concord won 44-18 in their recent non-league challenge against West Noble (Ligonier, IN)

Next up, the Knights play the Lake Central Indians (St. John, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 5. Mishawaka Marian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Indians come into the battle with a 14-3 record after their 61-31 non-league win over Kankakee Valley (Wheatfield, IN).
