In Thursday's non-league outing, the Hamlin Chargers (Hayti, SD) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Tiospa Zina Wambdi (Agency Village, SD), by a count of 77-23.
The Chargers (5-2) will now prepare for their outing against Sioux Falls Christian (Sioux Falls, SD). The Chargers go into the non-league outing with a 5-1 record. In their last outing, Sioux Falls Christian smashed Garretson (Garretson, SD), 45-34, in a league outing.
The Wambdi now hold a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Milbank for a A Region 1 outing on Tuesday, January 9. Tiospa Zina will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 57-31 non-league win over Custer (Custer, SD). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
