North Carolina High School Basketball - Spring Creek overwhelmed by James Kenan

The James Kenan Tigers basketball team scored 45 points and restricted the visiting Spring Creek Gators to 20 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Lenoir for a 2A East Central contest on Tuesday, January 9. James Kenan will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 31-28 league win over Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Blue Devils record now stands at 5-6.

The Gators (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against North Duplin (Calypso, NC). The Rebels come into the non-league contest with a 5-5 record. In their last contest, North Duplin was routed by East Duplin (Beulaville, NC), 60-29, in a non-league contest.
