The Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA) basketball crushed the host Loudoun County Captains (Leesburg, VA), 59-35 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Bolts (7-5) will now prepare for their test against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Potomac test with a 7-2 record.
The Captains now own a 0-10 record. They play next when they host Woodgrove for a Catoctin test on Tuesday, January 9. Loudoun County will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 47-39 non-league win over Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Wolverines record now stands at 12-0.
