The McAlester Buffaloes basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Muskogee Roughers to 56 in the Buffaloes non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Buffaloes now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Will Rogers College for a 5A District 4 contest on Friday, January 5. McAlester will battle a Ropers team coming off a 48-44 non-league loss to Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Ropers record now stands at 3-5.

The Roughers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Shawnee (Shawnee, OK). The Wolves enter the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Shawnee ran past Will Rogers College (Tulsa, OK), 48-44, in a non-league contest.
