South Dakota High School Basketball - Stanley County topped by McLaughlin

The McLaughlin Mustangs basketball team scored 46 points and restricted the host Stanley County Buffalos to 28 in the Mustangs league victory on Thursday.

The Mustangs now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Crow Creek for a A Region 6 contest on Friday, January 5. McLaughlin will battle a Chieftains team coming off a 51-43 non-league win over Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 5-1.

The Buffalos (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Redfield (Redfield, SD). The Pheasants come into the non-league contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Redfield prevailed over Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD), 42-36, in a non-league contest.
