The St. James Saints basketball team (St. James, MN), dropped 66-57 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting New Ulm Eagles (New Ulm, MN)
The Eagles now possess a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waseca for a AA Section 2 battle on Friday, January 5. New Ulm will meet a Bluejays team coming off a 56-42 non-league win over Lewiston-Altura (Lewiston, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 3-9.
The Saints (2-8) will now prepare for their contest against Windom (Windom, MN). The Eagles enter the AA Section 3 contest with a 9-3 record. In their last contest, Windom ran past Luverne (Luverne, MN), 68-56, in a league contest.
