Tipton Tigers (Tipton, IA) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), 67-22 in a league bout.

With the victory, Tipton upgrades its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Cascade (Cascade, IA) to play the Cougars in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 6. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 7-2. Cascade won 56-18 in their recent non-league bout against West Branch (West Branch, IA)

Next up, the Knights play the East Buchanan Buccaneers (Winthrop, IA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. North Cedar will attempt to upgrade on its 4-7 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 7-4 record after their 58-45 league win over Alburnett (Alburnett, IA).
