The North Plainfield Canucks basketball team scored 52 points and held the visiting South Brunswick Vikings to 43 in the Canucks non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Canucks now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Plainfield for a Greater Middlesex - White contest on Saturday, January 6. North Plainfield will battle a Tigers team coming off a 45-43 league loss to Woodbridge (Woodbridge, NJ). The Tigers record now stands at 5-2.
The Vikings (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Old Bridge (Old Bridge, NJ). The Knights enter the Greater Middlesex - Red contest with a 5-4 record.
