    • Ohio High School Basketball - Zanesville trounced by West Holmes

    January 4, 2024: Zanesville, OH 43701

    In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting West Holmes Knights basketball team scored a decisive 57-28 triumph over the Zanesville Blue Devils.

    In their next game, the Knights meet the Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal test, on Saturday, January 6. West Holmes will attempt to advance on its 6-4 season record. The Rams go into the test with a 3-8 record after their 58-41 non-league loss to Sandusky (Sandusky, OH).

    The Blue Devils now own a 1-10 record. They play next when they host Newark for a non-league test on Saturday, January 6. Zanesville will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 75-23 league win over Central Crossing (Grove City, OH). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-6.
