Arapahoe Warriors (Centennial, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Overland Trailblazers (Aurora, CO), 43-41 in a league bout.

With the victory, Arapahoe upgrades its record to 7-1 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Columbine (Littleton, CO) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 1-5. Columbine lost 66-8 in their recent non-league bout against Doherty (Colorado Springs, CO)

Next up, the Trailblazers play the Sand Creek Scorpions (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Overland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Scorpions come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 78-24 non-league loss to Liberty (Colorado Springs, CO).
