Sandusky Blue Streaks (Sandusky, OH) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Madison Comprehensive Rams (Mansfield, OH), 39-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Sandusky upgrades its record to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue Streaks travel to Bellevue (Bellevue, OH) to play the Redmen in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Redmen come into the bout with a record of 0-0.

Next up, the Rams play the West Holmes Knights (Millersburg, OH) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Madison Comprehensive will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 41-33 non-league loss to Zanesville (Zanesville, OH).
