The Kellam Knights basketball team scored 46 points and held the host Bayside Marlins to 40 in the Knights non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Knights now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Landstown for a non-league contest on Monday, January 8. Kellam will meet a Eagles team coming off a 72-61 non-league win over Cox (Virginia Beach, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 6-0.
The Marlins (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ocean Lakes (Virginia Beach, VA). The Dolphins enter the non-league contest with a 0-8 record. In their last contest, Ocean Lakes was nudged by Green Run (Virginia Beach, VA), 76-26, in a non-league contest.
