With the victory, First Flight improves its record to 3-3 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Manteo (Manteo, NC) to play the Redskins in a non-league challenge on Friday, January 5. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 2-3. Manteo lost 68-64 in their recent non-league challenge against Holmes (Edenton, NC)

Next up, the Dolphins play the Lawrence Academy Warriors (Merry Hill, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 6. Ocracoke will attempt to improve on its 1-5 season record. The Warriors come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 42-27 league win over Ridgecroft (Ahoskie, NC).
