The James Kenan Tigers (Warsaw, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Spring Creek Gators (Seven Springs, NC), 56-23 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Tigers (2-3) will now prepare for their test against South Lenoir (Deep Run, NC). The Blue Devils go into the test with a 8-1 record. In their last test, South Lenoir walloped Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC), 50-33, in a non-league test.
The Gators now own a 0-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Duplin for a non-league test on Friday, January 5. Spring Creek will encounter a Rebels squad coming off a 51-16 non-league loss to East Duplin (Beulaville, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 3-4.
