The Live Oak Acorns basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the host Oakwood Hawks to 57 in the Acorns non-league victory on Thursday.

The Acorns now sport a 7-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Silver Creek for a contest on Wednesday, January 10.

The Hawks (5-4) will now prepare for their contest against Carmel (Carmel, CA). The Padres come into the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Carmel edged Menlo School (Atherton, CA), 64-56, in a non-league contest.
