In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Hillsboro Indians basketball team scored a big 70-20 triumph over the Adena Warriors.

The Indians (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfield (Leesburg, OH). The Lions go into the non-league contest with a 6-2 record. In their last contest, Fairfield was trounced by Western (Latham, OH), 68-66, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Warriors battle the Huntington Huntsmen (Chillicothe, OH) in a Scioto Valley contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Adena will attempt to better on its 1-12 season record. The Huntsmen go into the contest with a 2-9 record after their 57-53 non-league win over Alexander (Albany, OH).
