Holy Family Tigers (Broomfield, CO) supporters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Aspen Skiers (Aspen, CO), 58-53 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Holy Family advances its record to 4-2 on the year. The Tigers host Monarch (Louisville, CO) to face the Coyotes in a 6A/5A/4A Granite Peaks match on Tuesday, January 7. The Coyotes enter the match with a record of 5-4. Monarch won 68-58 in their recent non-league match against Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO)
The Skiers now own a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rifle for a 4A Western Slope match on Friday, January 10. Aspen will face a Bears squad coming off a 69-60 non-league loss to Grand Junction Central (Grand Junction, CO). The Bears record now stands at 2-6.
