In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bay Yellowjackets basketball team scored a big 68-42 win over the Ridgefield Christian Warriors.
The Yellowjackets (14-6) will now prepare for their contest against ESTEM (Little Rock, AR). The Mets come into the 4A Region 5 South contest with a 16-8 record. In their last contest, ESTEM smashed Dardanelle (Dardanelle, AR), 62-56, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors battle the Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) in a 1A Region 3 contest, on Monday, January 6. Ridgefield Christian will attempt to better on its 11-12 season record. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 7-3 record after their 69-63 non-league win over East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR).
