The Berkmar Patriots (Lilburn, GA) basketball edged the visiting Mountain View Bears (Lawrenceville, GA), 66-60 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Patriots now possess a 7-7 record. They play next when they travel to Norcross for a AAAAAA Region 7 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Berkmar will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 70-68 league loss to Meadowcreek (Norcross, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-5.
With the loss, Mountain View falls to 4-11 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA) to play the Hawks in a AAAAAA Region 8 bout on Tuesday, January 7. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 11-6. Mill Creek lost 51-49 in their recent non-league bout against Johns Creek (Johns Creek, GA)
