Illinois High School Basketball - Biggsville West Central knocks off Hartsburg-Emden

In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Biggsville West Central Heat basketball team scored a good 63-52 win over the Hartsburg-Emden Stags.
The Heat (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Galva (Galva, IL). The Wildcats come into the Lincoln Trail contest with a 11-3 record. In their last contest, Galva was topped by Brimfield (Brimfield, IL), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Stags battle the Mt. Pulaski Hilltoppers (Mt. Pulaski, IL) in a Tomahawk contest, on Friday, January 10. Hartsburg-Emden will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Hilltoppers come into the contest with a 6-8 record after their 65-60 non-league win over Lutheran (Springfield, IL).
