California High School Basketball - Bishop Alemany nips Grant

The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Bishop Alemany Warriors (Mission Hills, CA) and the host Grant Lancers (Van Nuys, CA), observed Bishop Alemany's basketball team edge Grant by a score of 68-63.
The Warriors (14-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA). The Trailblazers come into the Mission challenge with a 13-3 record. In their last challenge, Sierra Canyon edged Houston (Germantown, TN), 62-42, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Lancers battle the North Hollywood Huskies (North Hollywood, CA) in a East Valley challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Grant will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Huskies come into the challenge with a 4-9 record after their 78-63 non-league win over Sylmar (Sylmar, CA).
