In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Bishop LeBlond Eagles basketball team scored a big 64-43 triumph over the Lathrop Mules.
The Eagles (17-2) will now prepare for their contest against Chillicothe (Chillicothe, MO). The Hornets go into the Midland Empire contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Chillicothe smashed Brookfield (Brookfield, MO), 53-23, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Mules battle the Braymer Bobcats (Braymer, MO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 6. Lathrop will attempt to better on its 2-8 season record. The Bobcats go into the contest with a 5-3 record after their 76-32 league win over Hardin-Central (Hardin, MO).
